Your Kitchen Questions Answered

Is it worth paying more for a kitchen?

In this post, I’m going to explore the question: Is it worth paying more for a kitchen?

Firstly, more than what? What are you comparing to? let’s assume this question is to consider the difference between a kitchen from a large DIY outlet and an independent bespoke kitchen showroom.

In this instance the simple answer would usually be yes, it is worth paying more and this is why:

✅ More Choice – As an independent showroom ourselves, we have full access to the entire market. We can buy our components from all over the world to ensure that every box is ticked, your kitchen looks amazing, has everything you need, and is optimised for functionality. As an example, most larger kitchen companies will offer a set size of options for the kitchens they sell, at Olivestone you can do almost anything! Deeper wall units, various heights on both base and wall units, bespoke sized options painted to any RAL colour. The options are endless.

✅ Better Quality – Inspect the quality, and ask the tough questions. Will the product build stand the test of time? Are the hinges robust enough to not bend under the weight of the doors? What is the quality of the glues, materials, and equipment when compressing the MFC? Is the melamine foil of similar quality? Probably not… Will the joins blow if you get a small leak under your sink? There are many quality issues to consider when comparing the quotes of kitchen companies.

✅ Better Service – We pride ourselves on delivering nothing but exceptional service, like probably all independent kitchen companies our customers are everything to us and we will go above and beyond to ensure you are more than happy with everything. There’s not one big kitchen company that can stand up to that.

✅ Design & Experience – I cannot answer for every kitchen designer but let’s say those that go on and keep improving and learning will go on either to own an independent showroom, or they will be working in one. Our passion will be designing and ensuring the customer has a kitchen plan that fulfills their dream. We provide a comprehensive design service with attention to detail ensuring nothing is missed.

We are not here to slate any competition. We are very busy, and we are professionals, so this is not why we share these images. However, it is a good example of why it’s worth paying more to an independent kitchen company. Here are just a few snippets of unhappy customers who have purchased from a kitchen company. This is only four of many in a single day. Do your own research before committing to any order with any company.

Olivestone kitchens do not take responsibility for the accuracy or truth of these comments, this was simply cut and pasted from a social media platform group.
